In UK Trailer For Opus It’s Once In A Lifetime Experience For Ayo Edebiri

Next month it will be a once in a lifetime experience in psychological thriller Opus. That experience will come to Ayo Edebiri with no cult like a celebrity.

Only a couple of days ago, Sundance Film Festival ended which this film made it’s premiere. Warner Bros Pictures have a lot of faith in the film and set to release the film next month.

The film is directed by John Malkovich), resurfacing after 30 plus years out the limelight. At the location she is with many intoxicated journalists and gloryseekers, slowly starts to learn the legend’s twisted plan.

I do like the remote location, reminds us of The Menu. Will it go down that route ? Certainly play on the viewers mind with something of a cat and mouse thriller.

A young writer (Ayo Edebiri) is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star (John Malkovich) who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago. Surrounded by the star’s cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.

The film also stars Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Stephanie Suganami, Young Mazino, and Tatanka Means. Opus will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 14th March. In the U.S, A24 films are releasing the film and that day is also 14th March.
