In Trying Season 2 Is Adoption On The Cards?

Adoption is on the cards for Nikki and Jason? In the Official Trailer for Trying Season 2 our wannabe parents have been, this is when the fun and games begin.

Esther Smith and Rafe Spall once again return as our wannabe parents who unfortunately unable to become parents the natural way. In Season 1, it was all about their attempts, ending with them being accepted to become adoptive parents. Season 2 will be all about their matching up with the correct child, which sounds straight forward. For other couples in the same position, no problem for them mission impossible.

Whatever the outcome, fans of this British comedy will be glad to know a third series has been commissioned by Apple TV, for now check out the New Trailer…

In the eight-episode second season of “Trying,” Nikki (BAFTA-nominee Esther Smith) and Jason (SAG-nominee Rafe Spall) are continuing to navigate the adoption process. Having been approved by the adoption they now find that matching with a child is not as straightforward as they had hoped. It seems like children are being snapped up by other couples while somehow they’re being left behind. Helped by their eccentric social worker Penny (Imelda Staunton), they are determined to do everything they can. When Nikki meets a little girl called Princess at an adoption event she knows instantly that this is the child for them. But there are obstacles to Nikki’s plan that may prove insurmountable.

Returning cast this season also includes Ophelia Lovibond (Elementary, W1A), Oliver Chris (Motherland, Four Weddings), Sian Brooke (Sherlock, Good Omens), Darren Boyd (Killing Eve, Luther) and Robyn Cara (Life, Ackley Bridge).

Trying, Season 2 which will debut globally Friday, 21st May, will premiere with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday, exclusively on Apple TV+.
