Richard Armitage in The Hobbit: the battle of the five armies

8 days are between  us and the epic final film of The Hobbit: The Battle Of  Five Armies arrives in UK& Irish cinemas and for your Thursday afternoon teatime pleasure we have 3 new clips and a featurette  on why 12th December should be spent in Middle Earth.

It’s amazing to think 11 years previously we where been tearful at the end of the Fellowship when the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy ended with Return Of The King, 2014 The Battle Of The Five Armies is ending. Whilst the same emotion may be at the same levels of 2003 finale we’re still as sad that another adventure in Middle Earth is coming to an is enough for us at The People’s Movies to be sad but will Thorin Oakenshield and his company of Dwarves succeed and gaining control of Erebor ?

The prospect of once again watching a Peter Jackson directed epic battle on the big screen is exciting us all and what better way to embrace the battle to enjoy the experience on the big screen at your local IMAX cinema. In the final video we have a featurette from IMAX on why you should watch The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies on an IMAX screen and this Monday we will be watching a preview of the film, so stay tuned for our review.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Fives Armies arrives in UK on 12th December 2014 starring Martin Freeman, Aidan Turner, James Nesbitt, Luke Evans, Ken Stott, Ian Mckellan, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee  and Billy Connolly.
