How Far Will You Go? Watch The Sunlit Night Trailer

In the name of art, how far would you go to invigorate your work? Would you go to the Arctic? Quiver Distribution have released the official Trailer for The Sunlit Night starring Jenny Slate.

Slate plays an Artist in need of some invigoration. With herself and assistant Yasha head the Norwegian part of Arctic restart her work away from the status quo. Yasha is there to bury her father in his homeland, the pair start to open up….

The Sunlit Night follows an aspiring painter (Slate) from New York City to the farthest reaches of Arctic Norway for an assignment she hopes will invigorate her work and expand her horizons. In a remote village, among the locals, she meets a fellow New Yorker (Sharp), who has come in search of a proper Viking funeral only to find that the Chief (Galifianakis) is but a re-enactor from Cincinnati. The eclectic crew ranges from “home” to “lost,” within the extreme and dazzling landscape of the Far North. Under a sun that never quite sets, and the high standards of an unforgiving mentor, s must navigate between ambition, desire, obligation, and risk in order to find a way forward.

The film also stars Alex Sharp, Fridtjov Såheim, David Paymer, Gillian Anderson, and Zach Galifianakis.

No UK distributor or release date confirmed yet, The Sunlit  Night will get a limited cinema release in the USA, plus Digital HD and VOD from 17th July.
