2015 Might only be 29 days away however before you could say Hasta a Vista baby! He’ll be in one of Summer Blockbusters, Arnie is his name and Terminator:Genisys is the film and today the film’s promotion campaign steps up a gear with a motion living poster.

Everyone’s favourite Austrian golden action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the franchise that built him Terminator and this new poster is also a throwback to the 1980’s with the iconic Terminator  killing machine in it’s full endo-skeleton glory. It’s all nostalgic but also classic to the original franchise too and the story  will deliver and ‘altered version’ of the  timeline seen in 1984 film.

Terminator: Genisys  set in 1984 and sees Game Of Thrones star  Emilia Clarke play Sarah Connor  who became an orphan years before thanks to an ‘terminator’ attack. When Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) is transported to Sarah’s time  only to find a ‘terminator’ (Schwarzenegger) whose been living among us for a long time protecting Sarah.

It seems in a way it’s a little bittle like T2 with Arnie protecting John Connor (played by Jason Clarke in Genisys) with the story expanded  but it will raise a few eyebrows amongst the franchise faithful. The poster is an homage not just to the franchise but also to the time travelling methods of our hero and cyborg antagonist. If our corrections are true the first trailer will be with us by late Wednesday evening early Thursday morning, we’re excited are you? Hasta La Vista Baby it’s time to hand over your clothes, boot and motorbike!

[update – 3rd December 2014] It seems the trailer will be arriving tomorrow 4th December world wide and our friends at Paramount UK have shipped us over a 15 second tease that shows off a glimpse of Judgement Day. Also Arnie as T-800 and the who is T-1000? Matt Smith? Byung Hun Lee?

For Doctor Who Matt Smith will co-star in Terminator: Genisys in a role still to be name with Byung Hun Lee with the film arriving in UK 3rd July 2015 2 days after USA.
