Whilst some of dream of our favourite actor we love but loathe his film choices delivering another Joe or Kick-Ass type performance, the show goes on as like any of us we’ve got bills to pay. Pay The Ghost may look like it’ll slot nicely into his B-Movie catalogue but that’s what we love about the actor we sometimes don’t know what to expect.The though of Cagemeister taking on the myth of Halloween is too good for us to say no too!
Pay The Ghost is based on a novel written by British Horror writer Tim Lebbon (Dusk), we meet Mike Cole (Nicolas Cage) an English lecturer who is haunted by eerie images and terrifying messages he can’t explain ayear after his young son disappeared during a Halloween carnival. The image he believes are from his son so he must reunite with his estranged wife ( Walking Dead‘s Sarah Wayne Callies),letting nothing stop him unraveling the mystery and find their son—and, in doing so, he unearths a legend that refuses to remain buried in the past.
It’s all on the the packaging, you know what your getting when it comes to a Cage film, you either loathe him or you go with the flow and see what madness unravels! Pay The Ghost does have a UK release of 23rd October (USA 23rd September) with the film also starring Lyriq Bent (Saw) with Uli Edel (The Baader Meinhof Complex) directing.
