Guy Ritchie’s The Gentleman Netflix Spin-off Series Gets A Trailer

This March a new class of criminals will arrive on Netflix. When The Gentlemen, the spin-off series of the Guy Ritchie film of the same name is released. Today we get our first tease with the first Trailer, pour a glass of whiskey and put your fists up.
The 2020 film is possibly Ritchie’s best film in a long time, so it’s no surprise we have a series. The Gentlemen will be set in the same world, just don’t expect to see familiar faces.
The humour and violence will be in place with Theo James leading the cast. Ray Winstone also stars as Bobby Glass, a career criminal from the East End of London who founded an industrial cannabis empire. James Eddie Horniman, who finds himself embroiled in criminality after inheriting his father’s estate. Next to him is Kaya Scodelario who plays Susie Glass, Bobby’s effortlessly stylish and steely daughter who runs the day-to-day business of the empire.
The rest of the cast includes Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito, Chanel Cresswell, Michael Vu, Max Beesley, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins, Dar Salim, Pearce Quigley, Ruby Sear and Peter Serafinowicz.
The Gentleman sees Eddie Horniman (Theo James) unexpectedly inherit his father’s sizeable country estate – only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire. Moreover, a host of unsavoury characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it.
The series is set in the world of The Gentlemen film, but not starring the original characters.
All eight episodes of The Gentlemen will be streamed on Netflix from March.
