Godzilla Minus One

Godzilla Minus One
Cinema box office loves ‘monsters’ literally. Godzilla Minus One is that monster they are enjoying at the moment, can anyone stand up to Godzilla? After stamping on box office records with a kaiju-sized opening weekend, Anime Limited and Toho Co. Ltd. have announced that their global has now earned over £1 Million at the box office in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Godzilla Minus One has quickly become the highest-ever grossing Japanese live-action film in the UK & Ireland following the largest opening weekend for Anime Limited, who distributed the film on behalf of Toho. Andrew Partridge, the CEO of Anime Limited, led the celebration of this incredible milestone: “If you told me Japan’s Kaiju would be our first film over the £1 Million line, I’d have not believed you! But, GODZILLA MINUS ONE represents some of the most incredible VFX work out of Japan to date, so it feels very fitting that if any live-action film should be our first film over that line, it should be this one. We’re all ecstatic here at Anime Ltd and can’t wait to see how far Godzilla can go!

Celebrating almost seventy-years of being a cultural and cinema icon, this latest incarnation of Toho’s classic movie monster was crafted to be the most terrifying incarnation of the character yet, and returns the series to its post-war roots. The film has received acclaim from critics and fans alike. Check out the UK Trailer and below that you can click on the link and read our review...
