Sony has today unveield the first full trailer for their fantasy/drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, which you can watch below!

What if you could open a doorway and walk through it to re-live a defining moment from your past? Sarah (Oscar Nominee Margot Robbie) and David (Oscar Nominee Colin Farrell) are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey – a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their future

Directed by Kogonada, director of After Yang and Columbus, the film is already getting early buzz for awards season. Indeed, it has been pushed back from its initial release, which was due in May. The film sees Farrell reteam with the director after their work on After Yang. Jodie Turner-Smith (who also starred in Yang), Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon, Lily Rabe, Brandon Parea, Chloe East, Hamish Linklater, and Oscar Winner Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda, Dave) . Genuinely, one of our most anticipated films of the fall, this one.

Farrell and Robbie may have a busy awards season, with both actors having other films released later this year that could be in the mix: Robbie co-stars with Jacob Elordi in Emerald Fennell’s remake of Wuthering Heights, due early in 2026; whilst Farrell co-stars with Tilda Swinton in buzzy title The Ballad of a Small Player, directed by Conclave helmer Edward Berger.
