Full COSMOPOLIS Trailer Arrives And Robert Pattinson Wants A Haircut

As I create this post the 2012 Cannes Film Festival programme has just been announced (stay tuned next post) David Cronenberg’s COSMOPOLIS is heading to the south of next month before that A Full trailer has just been launched.Last month a we got our first glimpse of the madness that we’ll expect and the full trailer (A French one) reveals more debauchery and a endless supply of catchprase’s that would have Roy Walker choking on his Mr Chips. After several years depressed as Edward Cullen Robert Pattinson will be hoping this film will help him break free of teenage girls and attempt something more grown up and who better than Cronenberg to hopefully supply that escape route as questions where asked of his acting ability after the dreadful Bel Ami.
R-Pattz plays Eric Packer a newly wed billionaire who has a who goes on a 24 hour bender in his limousine which ends up been a mad ride of sex, drugs and hallucinations that would make Jeff Kinney jealous.Lots of crazy things will happen in this one he even crosses paths with a presidential visit , even a funeral for a rapper! He also wants a haircut too! I’m one of the few people who enjoyed A Dangerous Method which was the filmmaker’s most commerical accessible film to date but looking at this trailer and reading other posts on this film Cosmopolis does mark his return to his trademark psycho sexual tension thriller that made us love his films.
No eaxct word on when this year the film will arrive in UK, though we’re looking possibly a autumn release with the film making its UK premiere at London Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival marking its North American however I have also heard this film may make its UK debut at June’s Edinburgh film festival (line up next month). Cosmopolis also stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, and Mathieu Amalric.

I have…. The Brood is awful. This looks like his best film since “A History of Violence” (the highwater mark of post-90s work).
it does look good looks like might be a apocalyptic ending with the giant rat creature in trailer
Reall hoping this one to be good. But wait a sec, I haven’t watched a bad Cronenberg movie!
