After yesterday’s Pigeon Shrine FrightFest 25 line up announcement, Less Tech More Life have released first Trailer for Video Vision. A queer romance set in a RetroTech body horror.

Directed by Michael Turney, the film stars Andrea Figliomeni and Chrystal Peterson. Less Tech More Life describe Video Vision as a RetroTech Romance about a woman who unlocks the dark dimension of Dr. Analog through an old VCR.

If you are of a certain age group, kid or teen of the 1980’s you will like the VHS era nostalgia. The film also tip toes into modern day sexuality riffs, as much as it’s also a techno horror.

Turney comments “Whether it’s media formats, gender or the age of time, Video Vision is a story of transition. The setting is New York City which has often changed but never escapes its history.”

When an old VCR mysteriously shows up at digitizing facility Video Vision, it starts affecting employee Kibby (Andrea Figliomeni) in strange ways. Meanwhile an unlikely romance with a trans man (Chrystal Peterson) has Kibby’s head in the clouds until she’s brought to her knees by the supernatural force that’s slowly taking control of her body and mind. When Kibby and Gator investigate the VCR’s origins they discover she has unwittingly unlocked the dark dimension of Dr. Analog.

Video Vision also stars Shelley Valfer, Hunter Kohl, Liz Livingston, Gwyneviere Ray, Steve Beale, Christopher Bligh, Cora Can. You can catch the UK Premiere of the film 24th August[buy tickets].
