Friendships Strained In New Truth Be Told Season 2 Trailer

The highly anticipated second season of the anthology drama series Truth Be Told is set for release later this month. Ahead of that release Apple TV+ launch a second new Trailer that teases friendships will be challenged and strained in the new season.

Octavia Spencer returns as Apple’s very own Jessica Fletcher aka Poppy Parnell. This new promo looks like has a big focus on Poppy’s longtime friend Micah played by series newcomer Kate Hudson. As True Crime podcaster Parnell dives into a case that might involve her friend Micah.

Apple TV+ may not have all the awards or the big releases, however their library of films and shows do have star power and Truth Be Told is no different!

Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) has a new case she would like you to reconsider when her childhood friend and media mogul Micah Keith (Kate Hudson) finds herself embroiled in tragedy and scandal. Poppy seeks to help Micah, pursuing justice on her very public and popular podcast, but at what personal and professional cost to Micah and her media empire?

The cast includes  Christopher Backus, Alona Tal, David Lyons, Andre Royo, Merle Dandridge, and Mychala Faith Lee. Along with Mekhi Phifer, Michael Beach, Ron Cephas Jones, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Tami Roman, and Katherine LaNasa.

Truth Be Told season two set to premiere globally Friday, 20th August on Apple TV+.
