Friendships Run Deep In Netflix’s Bad Trip Trailer

You don’t need myself to keep going on about those movies that never got their original release thanks to Covid-19 in 2020. Many changed format to the streaming world like Eric Andre‘s Bad Trip, now we get a look at the film’s official Trailer and friendships run deep.
Not exactly sure if this would have gotten a UK cinematic release or even how much of a run it would have received if it did. The lockdown has been a ‘blessing in disguise’ giving smaller films a bigger platform, the rest moving it online a ‘better choice’. Personally a big red flag is this comes from ‘one of the guys behind Jackass and Angry Grandpa’. If this type of prank is your thing you’ll probably enjoy this one, amazing to think 20 years after Jackass started people still fall for these jokes, throw in a few Borat style risky pranks.
I’m not going to say I know a lot about Eric Andre or Lil Rel Howery their on screen chemistry looks solid as well as convincing . The pair are best of friends who decide to go on a road trip which have ‘pranks’ that fool a real life audience.
From the producer of Jackass and Bad Grandpa, this hidden camera comedy follows two best friends as they go on a cross-country road trip full of hilarious, inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem. Bad Trip stars Eric André, Lil Rel Howery, Tiffany Haddish and Michaela Conlin. The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai from the minds of Dan Curry, Kitao Sakurai, and André – and produced by André, Jeff Tremaine, David Bernad, and Ruben Fleischer.
This film also stars Charles Green, Adam Meir, Michaela Conlin and Tiffany Haddish.
Bad Trip will be released on Netflix globally from 26th March.
