Foo Fighters Studio 666 Gets A UK Trailer!

Studio 666 (2022)

Dave Grohl stars as himself in director BJ McDonnell's STUDIO 666, released in the UK by Sony Pictures Releasing UK

Earlier this month we were all taken by surprise when a (U.S) Trailer for a horror Studio 666 starring The Foo Fighters. It was no joke or big promo for the band’s new album, today Sony Pictures release the UK Trailer and they tell us to get ready to laugh, scream, and headbang into our popcorn.

So what do you do when your a rock band got nothing to do during the pandemic? Make a horror comedy feature film! and that’s what Dave Grohl and his bandmates did, that good Sony now want to showcase the films in UK and Irish cinemas next month.

When I mentioned is it a promo for an album, in a way it actually is. Inspired by the band’s 10th album Menace At Midnight. The story comes from Grohl who finds him self blocked, creatively all thanks to evil spirits in Encino Mansion (Grohl’s own Studio 606). Can the band defeat these spirits and complete the album in time?

When it comes to musicians making ‘fun films’ very hit and miss. Fans of Foo Fighters will probably love this film, will everyone else? It looks a oddball of a film, however we love rock music and horror, give this one a chance.

In Studio 666, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock history to record their much-anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.

The film stars Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee. ing them are Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega and Jeff Garlin.

Studio 666 will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 25th February.
