First Trailer For Jesse Armstrong’s Mountainhead
Only last month SKY officially announced the cast for Jesse Armstrong‘s directorial feature debut Moutainhead, today we have the first Teaser Trailer.
Cast includes Ramy Youssef as Jeff. The ing cast includes Hadley Robinson as Hester, Andy Daly as Casper, Ali Kinkade as Berry, Daniel Oreskes as Dr. Phipps, David Thompson as Leo, Amie MacKenzie as Janine, and Ava Kostia as Paula.
In Mountainhead we find ourselves in the middle of a world economic crisis.A group billionaire CEO friends (Carell, Schwartzman, Smith & Youssef) escape the troubles head to a mountain retreat. As the foursome have fun, they are unaware the world economy is falling apart.
Two years after Succession ended, it was only the matter of time Armstrong will be directing. Ironic his first directorial role in some ways is very relevant of current times. It does look as if this smartly captures the smugness and arrogance of the wealthy characters. They don’t seem to care and most of all not likeable characters, will there be a lesson in store for them?
Four friends. $371 billion net worth. Zero culpability. A group of billionaire friends get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis.
Mountainhead will launch in the UK and Ireland on Sky and their streaming service NOW on 1st June. If you live in the U.S you can see the film on HBO Max on 31st May.
