Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 First Look Images Including Dwight!

Yesterday  (11th February) saw the return of The Walking Dead  with Season 9 mid-season premiere. As they adapt to  arrival of The Whisperers, Season 5 of Fear The Walking Dead is now in full production.

Like the original show, FTWD went through some drastic changes in the previous season which saw major characters dead. Fear also saw many new faces ing the cast including Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace and Jenna Elfman. Lennie James who plays Morgan also crossed over from The Walking Dead and now he will cross paths with a very familiar face…Dwight.

Former Saviour Dwight (Austin Amelio) was exiled by Daryl(Norman Reedus) at the end of Season 8 of The Walking Dead. After he left into the sunset searching for girlfriend rumours were rife what maybe next for the character. Despite sharing a hatred for Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) all ties were cut with the survivors. When it was announced The Whisperers where the villains, there was talk Dwight may have ed them. That talk flatlined when it was announced season 9 was to go through 2 time jumps totalling 8 years.

So where did he go or do during the time jump?

We may still find out as we’ll now see where he went straight after season 8 when he crosses over to The Fear of The Walking Dead. This show hasn’t went through the same recent time jumps as the main show making it easier for Dwight to cross paths. After the battles with The Vultures and Martha the survivors have set up a base which they hope to help other survivors like Dwight.

There is no confirmed air date for The Fear The Walking Dead just yet. It is expected Season 5 will be aired on AMC UK Summer 2019, stay tuned for confirmation. For now check out the first look images below including confirmation of Dwight!
