Epic Adult Animation Chang’An Gets A UK Trailer

We’ve been hearing a lot about epic adult animation Chang’ An. Now Dazzler Media are set to give the animated feature a UK cinema release, today you can check out the UK Trailer.

The Chinese animation comes from Beijing based Light Chaser Animation. On it’s release in 2023, It was a Top 5 film at the Chinese Box Office. Other Chinese animations White Snake and Ne ha had some success outside China, could Chang’ An them?

Chang’An is an adult animated drama set during the Golden Age of the Tang Dynasty (618–907). This a time of both flourishing culture and widespread poverty. Amidst the turmoil of a chaotic empire, only the poet Li Bai remained alive to bear witness. A few years after the devastating Anshi Rebellion, the Tubo army launched an attack on the southwestern frontier. Trapped in an isolated city, General Gao Shi reflects on his life and memories of Li Bai while speaking with the eunuch overseeing the army.
