Now it wouldn’t be a fitting end to a month without Lars Von Trier teasing us with another promo teaser clip from his Nymphomaniac and today we get that tease inspired by Master of Macabre.

Like Hitchcock the master of suspense Edgar Allan Poe has his fair share of inspiration throughout film and television with this clip he lends his masterful prose.W hat we’ve seen so far has been cryptic but never revealing too much as we know by now is Lars Von Trier‘s style creating a sense of mystery but most of all controversy. This is mostly visual  with Stellan Skarsgard narrating from The Fall Of House Of Usher though what direction the director may take could he take a Melancholia or The Idiots direction? The sexual content and how far he’ll attempt to push the censors make Nymphomaniac an intriguing prospect!

So what’s all about?  A 5 hour 2 part film spread over 8 chapters Nymphomaniac tells the tale of Joe a self diagnosed sex addict  Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg) who retells her life story after been saved by an charming older man Seligman (Stellan Skarsgard).

Whilst the above clip is an extract from Chapter 4:Delirium we have to apologize we missed the clips for Chapter 3: Mrs.H doesn’t have nudity but the dialogue might get you into a spot of bother at work.

Chapter 2: Jerome a clip I wouldn’t play whilst in the company of your mum, its a full on NSFW. In this one we meet Shia LaBeouf (Jerome) who we can see is such as sleazy individual who sees the opposite sex as mere ‘sex objects’

Whilst here in the UK when we’re munching on our Brussel sprouts on Christmas Day Denmark will embrace Nymphomaniac  when UK release date will be we expect  2014 possibly making a an appearance 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg  Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, Jean-Marc Barr, and Udo Kier.
