Duncan Jones To Direct World Of Warcraft Film Adaptation?

Gamer geeks of the world Duncan Jones might just be the man to bring your wet dream to reality as he has hinted via Twitter universe that his next project but it seems Zowie Bowie has been signed up to helm the long awaited World of Warcraft.

The Hollywood Reporter are reporting Warner Bros /Legendary Entertainment have signed the Source Code director to direct the film that once was to be helmed by Sam Raimi. World of Warcraft is the biggest most popular online fantasy role-playing game in the world spreading across with endless expansions plenty of orcs, dragons, zombies, and fighting pandas so plenty of scope for the film(s).

Some reports will say $100 million will be given to Jones for his war chest which will make this the directors biggest project to date. At this point no cast has been officially announced but gossip has already been into action with whispers connecting Johnny Depp however it would be a day of gossip without Messrs Depp been connected to some project! If this project is a go production should start in the autumn with Dark Knight Trilogy producer Charles Roven will produce.

This is certainly an ambitious project for Duncan Jones but also a sign of the faith film studios have in Jones ability it may be a daunting task at first but his track record is proven he can deliver. So do you think Duncan Jones deliver World Of Warcraft?
