Donnie Yen Fights For Justice In The Prosecutor UK Trailer

Hong Kong movie maestro Donnie Yen is fighting for justice in his latest film,The Prosecutor. Signature Entertainment have dropped the film’s intense UK Trailer, no one will stop the ‘Ip Man’?!
The legal action thriller hit Chinese cinemas last year and US just over Christmas. The critical reviews praising the films ambitious genre blending , on that note we’re up for checking this one out.
The Prosecutor is also directed by Yen as well as starring in lead role. Inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong we follow a man wrongly accused and turns vigilante to go after those responsible.

Donnie Yen pulls double duty, landing cases by day and punches by night as the last good man in a city of corruption. Inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong, The Prosecutor follows the story of a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being framed. Despite the confession, the veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor handling the case is convinced of the man’s innocence and pursues his own investigation, risking both his career and his life to bring the real perpetrator to justice. Starring Donnie Yen (Ip Man), Francis Ng (Infernal Affairs II) and Kent Cheng (Why Me?), The Prosecutor is written by Edmond Wong (Ip Man 3) and directed by Yen.
The Prosecutor will be released on UK Digital Platforms on 16th June, with the Blu-Ray release on 23rd June.
