Disney Showcase New Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil Poster

Getting a little bored with Disney’s live action remakes? Fear not Disney’s next film is Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil is not a remake but based on an iconic character…Maleficent.
Today we get an new Character Poster with Angelina Jolie as our titular character dominating the new artwork. Next to the piercing menacing white face and green eyes, one side of the Poster we have the film’s main charcaters. Elle Fanning also returning as Aurora. Next to her Michelle Pfeiffer is playing Queen Ingrith and Maleficent’s ‘rival’.
Maleficent in 2014 was an unexpected success and there’s hope this one will continue the streak. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Joachim Rønning is directing this one.

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning from a story by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster, the film is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.
Returning cast includes Sam Riley (Diaval); Imelda Staunton (pixie Knotgrass); Juno Temple (pixie Thistlewit); and Lesley Manville (pixie Flittle).They will be ed by new cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith; Chiwetel Ejiofor; Ed Skrein; Robert Lindsay; and Harrison Dickinson as Prince Phillip.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be released in the UK and Irish Cinemas from 18th October.
