David Fincherās Classic Zodiac Set For 4K UHD Upgrade
Thereās always been that burning question, āwhat is David Fincherās best film?ā. We all have our personal favourites, to some itās Zodiac. The superbly crafted 2007 thriller , is returning with a 4K Ultra HD upgrade for the first time in July.
The film features an outstanding ensemble cast led byChloƫ Sevigny. The film was written by James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider Man), and produced by Mike Medavoy, Brad Fischer, CeƔn Chaffin, Arnold Messer, Louis Phillips, and Vanderbilt.
The film stars Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain) as a San Francisco newspaper cartoonist who becomes obsessed with discovering the identity of the notorious Zodiac Killer. Based on the bestselling book by Robert Graysmith.
The 4K UHD release includes the Directorās Cut of the film, as well as a commentary by director David Fincher, and a commentary by lead actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr.
Based on the true story of the notorious serial killer and the intense manhunt he inspired, itās a searing and singularly haunting examination of twin obsessions: one manās desire to kill and anotherās quest for the truth.
