Comic Con 2013: Watch Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity Comic Con

Whilst many eyes are feasting on what exciting things Marvel and DC maybe unleashing (which we know now some exciting things), behind the buzz one film has been nicely building interest is Alfonso Cuaron‘s Gravity.
On Saturday director , producer Sandra Bullock where all in attendance in Hall H which had one of the longest queues at the con in a longtime and it seems it was a worthwhile wait for those lucky ones to get in as the footage was described as breathtaking. The footage shows Sandra Bullock, George Clooney (snapshot above) 2 astronauts working on the Hubble satellite and when Houston (Ed Harris) suddenly breaks out a warning that obsolete debris is coming their way, destroying everything in its path. From this point everything goes crazy so if your like us really keen to see this we won’t go further and spoil the enjoyment when the film arrives in a cinema near you.
Gravity is one of those movies less is better in of promotion delivering an sense of excitement, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney been the film’s only seen cast (Harris by radio only) does show the pair still have massive pulling power. Below is the full Comic Con which verbally is just as impressive as Cuaron explains how scenes where shot in very long unbroken scenes and reading the reports online if someone can make space visually beautiful and intriguing you know the film is in the hands of a auteur…
So one big question people where interested in, Why wasn’t Robert Downey Jnr chosen for the role but George Clooney was?
“It was very clear that the technology we were going to use… was not the most compatible thing for what Robert is the best at. That is, he takes one scene and he just starts riffing. And because of the technology that we use, it’s pretty much limited. We have to pre-program the film before shooting.”
Gravity will be released in UK on 18th October.
