Choose life, choose Trainspotting in 4K! After it’s re-run in cinemas during the summer, Danny Boyle’s iconic 90s black comedy drama, Trainspotting, coming to 4K Ultra HD , on Blu-ray in a limited-edition steelbook from November.

Charting the relationships between an unlikely group of friends, the cult classic stars Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Johnny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd and Robert Carlyle as young addicts attempting to navigate life in mid-80s Scotland. Full of raw visuals, thought-provoking dialogue and a soundtrack featuring Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Lou Reed, the limited-edition steelbook will also give fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access with a range of interviews and special features.

The critically acclaimed film from director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later) that captured the youth of the mid ’90s – now presented in stunning 4K Ultra Hi-definition. Hilarious but harrowing, the film charts the disintegration of the friendship between Renton (Ewan McGregor), Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Tommy (Kevin McKidd) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) as they proceed seemingly towards a psychotic, drug-fuelled self-destruction.
