a new teaser trailer was released but now 3 weeks on another full trailer has been released along with a trio of clips for your Friday evening voyeurism.

One thing about Cronenberg he likes to be different and Cosmopolis is certainly different probably the director’s strangest film to date the new trailer certainly hypes up the strange part, sometimes unsettling detached manner. This film is not for the faint hearted or could you even regard this one not the stereotypical film for your local mainstream cinema.

Whilst majority of the cinephiles who couldn’t stand Twilight will probably love this but Twihards maybe left in some confusion on what this is all about, (my niece who is a Twihard will boycott this one in protest, ah right…) we don’t we’re intrigued see where this one goes. Feels like Cronenberg attempts to be David Lynch after snorting a line of coke or two with JG Ballard & William S Borroughs! Still no word on the release date in UK, Ireland or USA however that maybe changing soon as Deadline are reporting they have picked up the rights to the film and are promoting this film as a Summer 2012 release so we could be enjoying this sooner than we think!

28-year-old financial wizard and billionaire Eric Packer traverses Manhattan in his stretch limo. His goal: a haircut at Anthony’s, his father’s old barber. But on this day his driver has to navigate a presidential visit, an attack by anarchists and a rapper’s funeral. Stuck in traffic, he anxiously monitors the value of the yen on the limo’s computer.

Cosmopolis also stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, and Mathieu Amalric.
