Caesar’s Last Stand In New War For The Planet Of The Apes Trailer

This July we will ‘witness the end’ but will it be the last clusters of humanity or in the words of Charlton Heston, ‘those damn pesky apes!’? With 2 months to go until the release, 20th Century Fox Pictures has released a new UK Trailer for War For The Planet Of The Apes. As Caesar’s Last Stand is teased, all his buttons pushed thanks to the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet…

Very few rebooted franchises have come back with equal if not better success than the original franchise and Planet Of The Apes is one of those successes. If you’ve been rooting for the humans in the first two movies, you may just find it too hard to be on their side after watching this trailer. Emotions are out of control especially as one massive confrontation is about to kick-off as Woody Harrelson‘s Colonel is determined not to stop until he wins. However so will Caesar (Andy Serkis), but as we’ve known for a long time this is one war he didn’t start but he’s going to be the one who’ll end it.

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

The action looks awesome, so does the motion captured Apes too. With Caesar ready to end this war by any means will he abandon the comion he’s grown with? Does this young girl with Apes playing key to survival? It all looks good and we can’t wait to find out!
