Bring Her Back: New Trailer For Talk To Me Directors New Film

Sony Pictures UK has unveiled a new international trailer for their summer horror thriller Bring Her Back, which you can watch below!

The sophomore directorial effort from Danny and Michael Philippou, directors of Talk to Me, Bring Her Back stars Oscar Nominee Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water, Paddington 2) as a foster mother with her eye on rituals and bringing someone back from the dead. And, judging from the trailer, the directors have struck gold once more.

Official Synopsis:

“Every ritual has a cost. In the film, a brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother,”

Alongside Hawkins are Billy Barratt, Stephen Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Alina Bellchambers, Jonah Wren Phillips, Olga Miller, Mischa Heywood, and Liam Damons. Co-written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman, the film is produced by Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton, with Cornel Wilczek composing the score.

After Bring Her Back, the brothers are set to direct a sequel to Talk to Me, though no release date has yet been set.

Early reactions for the film have been very positive, with some critics calling it “smart, uncomfortable and disturbing”, “one of the most disturbingly executed horror films” and “gnarly and cathartic”. We need this film in the UK right now!
