Scorching outside what better reason do you need to stay indoors and cool down? ARROW! The cult streaming service in June has a line which has Body Swaps and Ritual Sacrifices!

The month dives into the darkest depths imaginable, an unforgettably savage journey into the remote mountains of , an epic spaghetti western from Takashi Miike, a rediscovered supernatural sword-fighting gem, The Nun director Corin Hardy choosing from the ARROW catalogue, Watch the June 2025 trailer below…

If you adore Asian genre cinema, ARROW next month is your go to for that viewing seduction. A month bookends with Korean and Japanese genre gems, starting with two from South Korea. Devils, an intense and intriguing debut from writer/director Kim Jae-hoon, featuring a cop/serial killer body swap plot device packed with twists and action – think Face/Off meets Silence of the Lambs; and Body Parts, an inventive and dread-drenched anthology, featuring five grisly and gruesome tales, all with the theme of ritual and sacrifice. Off course both exclusive to the channel!

The Korean list continues with The Foul King, from filmmaker Kim Jee-woon (A Tale of Two Sisters) who resurrects his childhood wrestling idols in this uproarious comedy. StarringNa Hong-jin‘s  (The Wailing)The Chaser, Starring  Kim Yoon-seok (The Yellow Sea), Seo Young-hee (Bedevilled), and Ha Jung-woo (The Handmaiden). An box office sensation that instantly established itself as a modern classic and launched the careers of its director and stars.

As promised the month will end with a rarely seen Japanese gem,The Invisible Swordsman. Yoshiyuki Kuroda‘s eerie supernatural goings on and heroic sword-fighting action,boasting a sumptuous attention to its historical setting, costume design. Also with fight choreography and period details, all with an added dose of rip-roaring fantasy and adventure. The Japanese genre fix continues with Sukiyaki Western Django, from famed Japanese auteur Takashi Miike (Audition). Redefines the spaghetti Western with an epic tale of blood, lust and greed, with an ensemble cast including Hideaki Ito, Yusuke Iseya, Kaori Momoi, and a surprise appearance by Quentin Tarantino.

The rest of June includes Calvaire, a gripping, utterly involving thriller that has drawn comparisons to Deliverance and The Hills Have Eyes. Directed by Fabrice du Welz, and starring Laurent Lucas (Raw) as a travelling cabaret singer Marc Stevens who finds himself stranded when his van breaks down in a remote mountain region in , Calvaire will put you through the wringer. Corin Hardy Selects, where the director of spine tinglers The Hallow and The Nun is spoiled for choice selecting his faves from the ARROW library, with picks Creepshow II, Basket Case, and When Romero Met Del Toro.
