Bob Dylan Biopic A Complete Unknown Gets New Poster And Release Date

Last month Searchlight Pictures released the teaser trailer for Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. Today the James Mangold directed film showcases a new poster, more importantly revealing the UK release date.
Timothée Chalamet stars as the young music legend and A Complete Unknown we find ourselves in early 1960’s. A young 19 year old Dylan taking his first steps into folk music and New York particular. These steps leading Dylan to the Newport Folk Festival, the stage for his iconic performance in 1965.

Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 60s, A COMPLETE UNKNOWN follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician BOB DYLAN’s (Timothée Chalamet) meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts – his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation – culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.
The film also stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie. Along with Monica Barbaro, Dan Fogler, Charlie Tahan, P.J. Byrne, and Michael Chernus.
A Complete Unknown will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 17th January 2025. If you live in the U.S you can watch the film from Christmas Day, 25th December.
