Apple Want Us To Get ‘Physical’ With Rose Byrne Watch Trailer

Physical_(2021)

In unison I think we can say these lockdowns have expanded many of our waistlines. Apple TV+ has the answer our woes. Slip on your leotard, big hair and lets get Physical with Rose Byrne, watch Trailer.

Sheila Rubin (Rose Byrne) is a quietly tormented housewife in ’80s San Diego, who behind closed door battles extreme personal demons and a vicious inner voice. But things change when she discovers aerobics, sparking a journey toward empowerment and success.

If you love 1980’s nostalgia , this 10 part series will be right up your street. Everything from the colour scheme, the fashion, the big hair is essentially 1980’s. Some are saying this trailer is messy, I think it’s deliberate. Capturing the iffy sound, editing many of the trailer had in the decade, chopped to pieces. Now thrust those hips!

Set in the idyllic but fragile beach paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego, “Physical” is a half-hour dark comedy following Sheila Rubin, a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife ing her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly. But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She’s also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image… that is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics.

At first hooked on the exercise itself, Sheila’s real road to empowerment comes when she discovers a way to merge this newfound ion with the burgeoning technology of videotape to start a revolutionary business. The series tracks her epic journey from a stifled, overlooked enabler to a powerful, confident economic force, as Sheila transforms into someone we take for granted today (but was entirely radical at the time) — the female lifestyle guru.

The cast also includes Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci, Paul Sparks and Ashley Liao.

Physical is set to premiere on Friday, 18th June on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
