Andrew Garfield

Jude Law are reportedly in discussions to star in an Apple TV+  limited series about the legendary Las Vegas entertainers Siegfried & Roy.

According to The InSneider’s Jeff Sneider, the Oscar-nominated actors are in talks to play the iconic duo, though it’s unclear which roles they would take on. The series, which has been in development since 2022, comes from Only Murders in the Building co-creator John Hoffman and is being produced by Imagine Television.

The show is said to be based on Apple’s original podcast Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, which explores the lives and careers of the famous illusionists. Hoffman will serve as both writer and executive producer, continuing Apple’s trend of adapting popular podcasts into television series, following The Shrink Next Door, which starred Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.

Siegfried & RoySiegfried Fishbacher and Roy Horn—were world-renowned for their elaborate magic shows, featuring white tigers and lions. Their decades-long residency in Las Vegas came to an abrupt end in 2003 when Horn was critically injured by a tiger during a performance. Horn ed away in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19, while Fishbacher died in 2021 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

With two powerhouse actors potentially leading the project, the series is shaping up to be a fascinating look at the rise, success, and tragedy of one of entertainment’s most famous duos.
