Amazing New Posters For Prisoners Of The Ghostland

We know when Sion Sono‘s English Language feature debut Prisoners Of The Ghostland may have divided the staff at The Peoples Movies I can’t wait to see this film. When the lead actor Nicolas Cage states it was ‘The Wildest Movies I’ve Ever Made” Elysian Film Group a couple of new Posters they have slapped that quote on  them both! To be honest both the new posters are rather awesome!

This film Cage plays Hero a prisoner who finds himself on a mission to rescue the Governor’s grand daughter. If he successfully succeeds within five days he’ll get his freedom, if not the bomb around his neck will kill him.

In the treacherous frontier city of Samurai Town, a ruthless bank robber (Nicolas Cage) is sprung from jail by wealthy warlord The Governor (Bill Moseley), whose adopted granddaughter Bernice (Sofia Boutella) has gone missing. The Governor offers the prisoner his freedom in exchange for retrieving the runaway. Strapped into a leather suit that will self-destruct within five days, the bandit sets off on a journey to find the young woman— and his own path to redemption.

The film also stars Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes, Bill Moseley, Tak Sakaguchi, and Yuzuka Nakaya.

Prisoners Of The Ghostland  will make it’s UK Premiere at this month’s Arrow Video FrightFest on 28th August [info/Buy Tickets]. The officially released in UK and Irish cinemas from 17th September.
