Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers Gets A UK Home Release Date

This April Dazzler Media will release the critically acclaimed comedy drama, The Holdovers. Set for release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.

Directed by Alexander Payne and stars Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa, Da’Vine Joy Randolph. In The Holdovers Giamatti is Mr Hunam, a no-nonsense teacher of a well to do New England Prep school who must stay on campus during Christmas. He finds himself ‘babysitting’ some student unable to go home for Christmas Over time one trouble making student and the school’s head cook form an unlikely bond.

Despite coming out in January in the UK, it’s considered a ‘Christmas film’. Freda Cooper reviewed the film for us, calling it “a Christmas classic for years to come“.
