A Nun Is Tormented In UK Trailer For Horror Prey For The Devil

A Scene from Prey For The Devil

Once You know the devil, the devil knows you. Lionsgate films have unveiled the UK Trailer for horror Prey For The Devil, it wants in!

When it comes to Exorcism horrors, German filmmaker Daniel Stamm is no stranger. He directed Eli Roth produced The Last Exorcism, now demonic possession is a global threat.  This threat pushes the Catholic church to re-open their Exorcism school and battle  via rite of exorcism.   A professor decides to train a Nun the skills of an exorcist despite it being forbidden. With the help of a priest, the Nun battle for the soul of a young girl and the Devil wants in.

A nice twist that the protagonist is the exorcist instead of the victim.  The focus is on all those on the battlefield and hopefully a solid horror with scary moments. It certainly looks a multi-layered horror with trauma at the centre of the film.

In response to a global rise in demonic possessions, the Catholic Church reopens exorcism schools to train priests in the Rite of Exorcism. On this spiritual battlefield, an unlikely warrior rises: a young nun, Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers).

Although nuns are forbidden to perform exorcisms, a professor (Colin Salmon) recognises Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl (who Sister Ann believes is possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years ago), and soon realises the Devil has her right where he wants her… and it wants in.

The cast includes Jacqueline Byers, with Colin Salmon, Christian Navarro, Nicholas Ralph, Ben Cross, and Virginia Madsen.

Prey For The Devil will be released by Lionsgate Films in the UK, Ireland and the USA from 28th October.
