“15 years old and no husband?!” Barnabas Collins my dear fellow how centuries have changed! A new 60 second extended tv spot for Tim Burton’s homage to his favourite all time tv show from his childhood DARK SHADOWS starring his old buddy Johnny Depp.Really the only mildly amusing part of this spot is the exchange of words between Barnabas (Depp) and Carolyn (Chloe Moretz) other than that I just seem to be one of the very few people who just thinks this is terrible. everytime I see new footage (which this spot has but minimal)I just hate it even more probably because I’ve never been a fan of Burton with exception of Bettlejuice and Batman but that’s just my opinion. This is not a Adam Sandler film so I’m not going to preach you shouldn’t watch this because after the abuse I got for thinking The Kill List, i’ll leave that choice to you.
Dark Shadows stars also Helena Boham Carter, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chloe Moretz, Gulliver McGrath, Bella Heathcote, and Jackie Earle Haley. The Munsters, Adams Family, sorry Dark Shadows will be out May 11 2012.
